Will Health Right provide transportation for me to go see my doctor?
Health Right offers transportation to and from planned health care appointments.  If you need transportation to a scheduled appointment, please call Health Right?s Member Services at (202) 218-0380.  A member services representative will find the best way to get you to your appointment.  Please try to call at least 5 days in advance, to give us time to arrange your transportation.

Where should I submit my claims to?
All providers are allowed 180 days from the date of service to submit their claims for processing.

How do I get a referral to see a specialist?
All consultation services for any HR in-network specialist is allowed (3) visits within a 6-month period without an authorization number for referrals. Members can self refer to Family Planning, Vision, Dental Care, and OB/GYN.

What does not require an authorization:

      1. Mammograms
      2. Regular X-rays
      3. Ultrasounds/Sonograms
      4. Routine eye exams
      5. Routine lab

What prescription drugs are paid for by Health Right?
Health Right has an open drug formulary and no co-payment for members.  Prescription drugs that are paid for by Health Right are left to the discretion of the Medical Director.

What doctors can I see and where can I get my prescriptions filled?

What is a PCP and when do I go to one?
A PCP is your primary care provider, which is the doctor you will visit when you need any check-ups, physicals, immunizations, referrals or other routine services.  For more information, click on choosing a PCP.

Yes!  Health Right's toll free number is 1-877-284-0282.  English and Spanish speaking representatives will be available to assist you.

What are Health Right's office hours?
Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.  After 5:00 pm, weekends, and holidays you can call the Nurse Help Line Toll Free: 1-800-239-0145.  The Nurse Help Line is available in 150 different languages.

Yes, Health Right offers an array of behavioral health services to meet our member?s needs. They include an Evaluation, Inpatient Hospitalization, Partial Hospitalization, Day Treatments, Residential Treatment Services, various Outpatient Clinic Services and Psychological Testing/Laboratory Services.
